An anonymous player was quoted today in Marty York's Metro column.
"I'll be stunned if he's with us another week," the player said naturally requesting anonymity. "WE need a coaching change, man. (General Manager Bryan) Colangelo's brought in good players but the coaching's terrible. He (Sam Mitchell) has us running around like chickens with our heads cut off. He stresses shooting and offence, but then he is always on our ass about defence."
Anyone else think this is Mo?

I believe its Mo as well. That is why he got yanked from the line up last night.
But if I am Mo and see the team actually win with Graham doing a much agressive job, I will keep my mouth shut and make peace with SM and get back in the lineup and work hard.
*If* that quote is real (notice how no other reporter is going to mention a Marty York story) then it's Morris Peterson. Marty York has had an unnamed Raptors player before speak out and this was a year or two ago when only him and Bosh were on the team of the current players, and I'm pretty sure it's not Bosh so.....
But I think Mo is really injured, this wasn't punishment.
It is funny though, had this been any other newspaper or reporter, everyone would be talking about this but because it's the York Report, nobody gives any regard to it.
Mo also had an MRI done revealing actual injury to his elbow, so I don't think his sitting out proves anything. I'm with the writer for the Sun - Marty York is a hack who'll do anything to have people read his column now that he's shunned by the mainstream media. Read the column - it is truly self-serving. The 'source' claims that he would never bring this to a mainstream writer b/c 'they're scared of Sam.' The 'source' also innoculates York from criticism - 'watch what happens...you print this and Mitchel denies it and reporters [who have already been 'proven' to be Mitchel cronies] just say you made it up...'
Looks like opportunistic BS to me. Or, maybe the longest serving Raptor, consumate professional and our best defensive player is bitching and whining about have to play defence.

I saw your blog mentioned in the Globe & Mail while I was reading it on the shitter -- only, I didn't know it was your blog. The only thing that stinks worse than my excrement is Sam Mitchell's coaching. He doesn't have the know-how to be an assistant coach on a rec league team.
