Game 9 - Denver Nuggets

Today I was at work and was unable to post for tonight's game until now, 8 minutes into the game. The Denver Nuggets were one of my picks to miss the playoffs in the Western Conference this season. Why you ask? A few reasons:

1) Camby is injury prone
2) Kenyon Martin is one of the most over-rated players in the game
3)Andre Miller hasn't come to camp in shape in -- well forever -- spending the first 15 games playing himself into shape

The only thing I thought the Nuggets had going for them was Melo, and he is really a one dimensional player. He has trouble defending and rebounding. So to be honest I think this may be one of the more winnable games on this western swing. I think the Raptors match up well. With the lack of depth at the wing position -- one of the raptors strengths -- they'll have problems matching up against the likes of Fred Jones, Parker and Mo-Pete. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Raps are going to snap their 4 game losing streak.

Toronto - 112
Denver - 104
