The Answer is YES

Dave Feschuk's article about whether SM needs help with teaching his young big men the NBA game poses an interesting question which only leads to more of the same. Does SM need an Assistant Coach with a focus on Big Men such as LA and Philly's, Hall of Famers Abdul-Jabbar and Moses Malone? The answer is probably yes. But SM chose not to seek one out even though he took over the team with Chris Bosh entering his second season in the NBA. Why would you not one of your top prospects learning from an Assistant who would devote the bulk of his time to developing his big men? Did MLSE say no? Or was it him who chose not to include one in his staff? At lease Bosh was able to get help from such veterans as Antonio Davis and Donyell Marshall in his first season. The same cannot be said for this edition of the Raptors. Bargnani really has no big outside of Nesterovic who has been in the league more than Bosh who is still learning and developing in his own respect. In any case something needs to be done. Why not start fresh with a new coach and new assistants and include a big man coach? I know I would.
